Support Stanford’s entrepreneurs and investors.

We believe that venture-backed entrepreneurs are key to any technological revolution. Any drive to make Stanford’s community a central force in web3 must include means of supporting Stanford’s founders.

Support Stanford’s on- and off-campus web3 ecosystem

Stanford offers a variety of classes and events relevant to web3. Tree DAO does not try to replicate these offerings. Instead, we aim to support and supplement on- and off-campus activities to the best of our abilities and provide support and infrastructure to launch initiatives not possible via traditional models of organizing. We use blockchain technology to facilitate collaboration and innovation.

Provide infrastructure

A major barrier to web3 adoption is the lack of regulatory clarity. We provide a legally compliant wrapper that allows members to launch various web3-related activities in a DAO-sub-DAO framework.

Onboard and educate

We believe in the power of education and community. We also believe that web3 currently fails to deliver on one of its core promises— inclusivity. The Tree DAO is a on a mission to promote a welcoming web3 environment for all identities, backgrounds, and experiences. Members of the DAO will be held to a high standard of representing the space in this manner.
